Target Tuesday

Mr. TL is a wonderful man whom I adore... but he's crossed a line. He has basically forbidden me from "just strolling" through Target. I guess I can see his point - I don't just stroll. I stroll and ooh and ahh over the items I not just want, but flat out need!

There's no harm in a little dot com strolling on the Target website to point out the items I'm currently coveting... right? Didn't think so. ;)

I'm in love with this neutral striped v-neck draped dress... I think it's perfect for a night out with Mr. TL. Paired with some chunky, wooden accessories and I'd be in heaven.

I also love this ruffle neck v-neck dress too. The color is just delicious for the spring and summer. I'd pair it with a pop of color - red of yellow maybe - for my accessories and it would be a winner.

I'm a big fan of neutral furniture and then really adding a bit of color to the room via your accessories. I love this floral rug. It's not so bright that it's unbearable but just bright enough to jazz up any neutral space.

And speaking of neutral furniture - Mr. TL and I are planning to house hunt soon and we've been in talks as to what furniture we'll buy when we move too. I'm pretty flexible with most ideas but the one thing I won't budge on is a coffee table that doubles as an ottoman. From my endless Google searches, they've all been crazy expensive. That was until I stumbled onto this beautiful cocktail table ottoman. I love the tufted look to the top and the ability to place a couple of serving trays onto as needed for drinks or remote controls.

Target Tuesday

I'm having a little TOO much fun with these link up's... but why not, really? It's a great way to visit new blogs and see what everyone has to say. Sounds good to me! Target Tuesday comes from a fabulous (pun intended) blog titled Fabulous but Evil. How can you not love that blog name?! I'm well aware that now 3 of my last half dozen posts involve nail polish (See! I told you I'm obsessed!) but I recently picked up Essie's Sand Tropez at Target and I can't wait for my next pedicure to try it out. It's a beautiful neutral beigy color that will look amazing with a wee bit of tan (I'm Irish and Scottish - a girl can dream, right?). When Mr. TL and I registered for our wedding, we picked dinnerware that was solid white - it's crisp, clean, and chips all the time. Needless to say, the most expensive dinnerware isn't always the sturdiest. If I could have a do-over (and I may just have that opportunity when we move shortly!), I want fun, playful dinnerware. This Damask 16 Piece Dinnerware Set is just my style.

I'm willin the warm weather to be here with my recent purchase of these quasi gladiator Emeline Braided Flat Sandals. The pewter color is fresh and fun and they're an easy sandal to dress up or down.
